[Zbrafish] dechorionating embryos

You can use Pronase, mix it with egg water and wait for 3-10 minutes. You need to keep your eyes on them and change the solution with fresh 30% danieau buffer immediately after seeing a dechorionated embryo. After awhile you will see the others are dechorionated in new solution too. It is the fastest and easiest way however disturbs some of embryos too (It is better to do the experiments in an agarose covered Petri dish). So, if you have limited number of embryos I suggest you to use number 5 forceps to remove the chorion.
Good luck,

Subject: [Zbrafish] dechorionating embryos

Can anyone tell me the easiest way of dechorionating early stage
zebrafish embryos without disrupting the yolk?

Thanks in advance,
With Best wishes
