Postdoctoral position available to carry out a large-scale
parthenogenetic screen for cell differentiation mutants. A pilot
screen is complete, facility additions will be complete this winter,
and the screen initiated in 2002. A passion for genetics and ability
to write for extramural funding are required. Knowledge of zebrafish
or other genetic model system is desirable. Hershey,
Pennsylvania is nearly a nearly crime-free, peaceful, friendly, place
to live with excellent public schools and cultural opportunities. We
are in an ideal location near major metropolitan centers of the
Northeast (20 minutes from the state capital - Harrisburg, 45
minutes from Lancaster, 3.5 hours from New York City, 2.5 hours
from Washington,D.C., 2 hours from Philadelphia, and 1.5 hours
from Baltimore).
