Two PhD Scholarships in Genetics
$15,630 p.a. plus establishment and travelling funds.
Applications are invited for scholarships to undertake research for the
degree of PhD in the Department of Genetics starting in 1998. The
scholarships will be for three years only. Research projects are available
in the following areas: developmental genetics; cell cycle control; human
genetics; neurogenetics (model system = ZEBRAFISH); control of gene
expression; chromosome structure; plant pathology; molecular evolution,
ecological studies and conservation biology.
Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, an Honours I or high IIA degree
or equivalent in Genetics or a related discipline.
