I would vote no for moderation. However, I think enforcement of the no cross-
posting rule would help to eliminate some of the most ridiculous and irrevelant
messages. I just don't like the idea of someone deciding what is relevant or
not for the group to discuss. If you don't want to read a message, delete it
without reading it. Useless thread will die even though they are sometimes
painful deaths.
Personally, I have seen enough messages about "The Hot Zone" and the Ebola virus
to last a lifetime. However, there is a need for a place where a lay person can
receive accurate information or direction and not the hype of the news media or
a fictional book based on a real event.
Just my two cents worth.
