OK, so my one-newsgroup rule would not get rid of the PROFESSIONAL
spam, e.g.:
> From: ogymiramar_a at ppp.com(ogyMiramar Associates)
> Newsgroups: bionet.virology
> Subject: ogy...Renters .... Buy a Home with No $$ Downogy
> Date: 9 Mar 1996 02:58:34 GMT
> Organization: adnc.com
, which is posted to each newsgroup separately. But at least this sort
of thing does not lead to Threads That Will Not Die, because it doesn't
combine replies from a zillion newsgroups.
Cross posting is like spamming for beginners.
