We are thinking about UV inactivating HCMV (a herpesvirus)....
What exactly is thought to happen to the proteins in the tegument?
Is there any gene expression from the vDNA, even if a virion doesn't form a
plaque?
If you have any experience with UV irradiating viruses we would appreciate
your thoughts on the above,
