SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER (VIROLOGY)
We invite applications from Microbiologists for the above
post with effect from 1 January 1997 or as soon as possible
The successful applicant will be expected to have a
comprehensive background in molecular virology, preferably
with a research interest in plant virology, plant
biotechnology or plant molecular biology.
Depending on your qualifications and experience the
remuneration packages will be between:
Senior Lecturer: R98 326 - R144 318 a year. Salary
component: R5 698 - R7 876 a month.
Lecturer: R66 547 - R130 980 a year. Salary component: R3
746 - R7 051 a month.

The post may be filled on a permanent basis or on a three
year fixed-period basis, whereafter it may be renewed or
converted to a permanent post. Under exceptional
circumstances the post may be filled on a permanent basis.
