We are particularly keen to encourage attendance by junior scientists in the

present their latest research results:

We are looking forward to a broad-based meeting related to the control of
infectious diseases with particular emphasis on immunological aspects and
immunization. The meeting will also host the Albert B. Sabin Vaccine
Foundation's second annual lecture for outstanding achievements in the field
of vaccination.=20

Thanks to the generosity of Lederle-Praxis Biologicals Division of American
Cynamid and Pharmacia LKB Biotechnology, the organizers are able to offer
individual support up to $205 towards the cost for attending the meeting
(normal price=3D $705, which includes all registration, board and lodging
costs) for any graduate student wishing to attend the meeting. To qualify
for the student discount, participants should enclose a photocopy of their
current student ID card or a letter from their lab head indicating their
status. Please note that other newly registering researchers may also be
eligible for partial financial support on a case-by-case basis - please
include a letter of justification with your application. Despite the fact
that the abstract deadline is now past we hope that you or a colleague from
your laboratory will be able to participate in what should be a most
interesting meeting. Registration materials are available by emailing
meetings at cshl.org.
