I have a question regarding the consequences of cellular death.
Cell death by apoptosis causes morphologic alterations resulting
in fragmentation of the cell as a whole to produce membrane-
bound "apoptotic bodies" which are phagocytosed and degradated
by nearby cells. In contrast, cell necrosis results in disruption
of the cellular membrane and in the release of a variety of
cellular constituents and enzymes which could be toxic to other cells
and may attract cells of the immune system. Who has information
about the components that are released by necrotic cells or knows
where I could search for more information.
Thanks in advance,
