HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT BIOMONITORING? BCERF recognizes the growing
interest in the emerging fields of biomonitoring and environmental
monitoring. We added a new section to our web site focused on these
topics. See the slide show from Dr. Suzanne Snedeker's distance
learning session about biomonitoring. Read questions and answers.
Pursue further information from our list of linked reports and sites.
Our biomonitoring and environmental monitoring web page
<http://envirocancer.cornell.edu/learning/biomonitor/biomonitor.cfm>
is now available.

NEW BREAST CANCER MAPS AND DATA FOR NEW YORK STATE BCERF updated
our list of breast cancer maps and data for New York State. We now
include 1997-2001 and 1998-2002. The maps are created using data
from the New York State Department of Health Cancer Registry. The
maps of cancer incidence and mortality are color-coded by county. To
see the new maps and data, visit our maps page
<http://envirocancer.cornell.edu/map/NYinfo.cfm>.

DID YOU MISS THE CANCER AND ENVIRONMENT FORUM? The Cancer and
Environment Forum on Sept. 30th in Albany, New York was a
well-attended and interesting event! We have posted a short summary
of the forum and will soon be adding more details. Also, look for
expanded coverage of many topics raised at the forum in the next
edition of The Ribbon. For a look at the most recent forum, visit
our summary <http://envirocancer.cornell.edu/program/meetings.cfm>.
