The Division of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the College of Pharmacy has
available a tenure track/tenured position at the level of Assistant,
Associate or Full Professor to be filled by September 2004. A research focus
in the areas of cell signaling or apoptosis, and mechanisms by which
toxicants affect these systems is preferred, although all areas of research
will be considered. The individual filling this position will augment
existing expertise and is expected to take on various leadership roles and
to participate in both PharmD and graduate teaching. Qualifications include
a Ph.D. degree, a strong publication record, and evidence of current
independent research funding. A competitive startup package will be
available. The Division of Pharmacology and Toxicology is a joint
participant with the MD Anderson Cancer Center in a NIEHS Environmental
Center Grant (http://sciencepark.mdanderson.org/cred/ ) as well as a NIEHS
