Hello everyone -
Toxicology / toxicokinetics of Rubidium
I am investigating the health effects of acute exposure to volcanic
gases. Most past research has concentrated on the effects of acid gases
such as SO2, HCl, HF etc.; we're looking for changes in blood and urine
levels of trace elements following exposure. Arsenic and mercury have
been used as biomarkers before, but we want to look for aluminium and
rubidium too.
Literature on toxicology and toxicokinetics of Rb is hard to find! Can
anyone point me in the direction of any reviews of this element?
Thank you
Michael Durand
