The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the University
of Georgia, Athens, invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track
faculty positions at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level. Applicants should have a
Ph.D. or equivalent degree, have demonstrated research skills, and be able
to teach in both the Pharm.D. and Ph.D. programs. The successful applicant
will also be expected to develop a dynamic, extramurally funded research
program, utilizing techniques in molecular and cellular biology either in an
area of cancer chemotherapy or biochemical pharmacology/toxicology.
Individuals with expertise in the areas of drug discovery, drug metabolism,
antiviral/antimicrobial therapy, and/or mechanistic studies are strongly
encouraged to apply.
