Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Environmental Health Sciences and

of the Department of Health Education and Promotion, in the School of Health
and Human Performance <http://www.ecu.edu/hhp/ <http://www.ecu.edu/hhp/> >.
The positions are available August 25, 2003. Screening begins February 5,
2003 and will continue until both positions are filled.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications: doctorate in
environmental health or strongly related field, potential as a teacher and a
researcher. Course topics to be covered by the two positions include:
general environmental health, toxicology, water supply, waste water
treatment, food sanitation, insect and vector control, industrial hygiene,
and environmental health management/ law as part of a comprehensive
environmental health and safety curriculum. Experience and certifications
such as RS/REHS/CIH/CSP/ Toxicologist are desirable. Demonstrated ability to
interact effectively with students, research/creative activity, teaching,
advising and service is expected.
