Toxicologist
Toxikon a premier product testing service and development organization in the world, serving all domestic and internationally regulated market segments. Toxikon currently located in Bedford MA, is looking for several toxicologists for our, Vivo and InVitro groups.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide risk assessment analysis and technical interface with clients and FDA or other agencies, while demonstrating strong quality/regulatory knowledge.
Set up test systems, design and conduct experiments meeting FDA, European and Japanese agency requirements.
Prepare study protocols and SOPs; analyze data and prepare reports; manage ongoing studies and develop new clients.
Establish protocols to evaluate the potential mutagenicity/Toxicity of drugs, and other chemicals, using a range of short-term in vitro and vivo models
Requirements:
MS or PhD. in Toxicology
Experience in animal model development and preliminary safety assessment of late research and development projects.
Two plus years experience in managing toxicology studies
Knowledge of general and genetic toxicology, cell culture, chromosome analysis, bacteriological techniques, and GLP.
