Associate Toxicologist Open Examination The Department of Pesticide
Regulation in the California Environmental Protection Agency seeks Associate
Toxicologists. The openings exist in Sacramento, California. Entry-level
position in conducting human pesticide exposure assessments, evaluating
toxicological or exposure studies, or preparing risk assessments. To
quality, persons must: (1) hold a Doctoral degree in toxicology or a closely
related field (e.g., public health, bio- or environmental chemistry,
pharmacology, or physiology); or (2) have three years of experience past
receipt of a Master's degree in performing and interpreting studies and/or
conducting safety evaluations and hold a Master's degree in toxicology,
biochemistry, pharmacology, or closely related fields from an accredited
college or university; or (3) have certification as a Diplomat of the
American Board of Toxicology. The current salary range is $4,136 to $5,480
per month. A comprehensive benefits package is available, which may include
