Tenure-track faculty positions are available at the rank of associate
professor/professor in the Institute of Chemical Toxicology at Wayne State
University. The Institute offers a research-intensive environment and is
home to the NIEHS-funded Environmental Health Sciences Center in Molecular
and Cellular Toxicology with Human Applications. The EHS Center offers
facility core support in cell culture/transfection/infection techniques,
transgenics/gene deletion, imaging and cytometry, and molecular genetics.
Research areas of interest include receptor-mediated intracellular
signaling, mechanistic research on intracellular and extracellular signaling
components, regulation of gene expression, cell cycle control, and DNA
damage and repair. Highly competitive salaries, start-up funds and
