ENVIRONMENTAL PHYSIOLOGY

        The T. H. Morgan School of Biological Sciences invites applications
for a TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION in Environmental Physiology to begin in
August 2000.  We are beginning an expansion of our research group in
Environmental Biology and seek an individual of exceptional promise engaged
in research on how organisms respond to chemical or other anthropogenic
stressors.  Areas of particular interest include ecotoxicology,
bioindicators, immunobiology, developmental biology and risk assessment,
including implications at the population and community levels; other areas
that complement existing expertise will be considered.  The successful
candidate will be expected to develop an independent, nationally
competitive research program and contribute to graduate and undergraduate
education.  Teaching expectations include courses within the candidate's
specialty and contributions towards the School's curriculum.  Excellent
start-up support, research space, facilities, and opportunities for
multidisciplinary interactions are available.  For additional information
