I am hesitant to have my new born child (due in 2 weeks) injected with Vit
K solution which contains 0.5% phenol. I realise this is a miniscule
amount but what about carcinogenicity/mutagenicity? Is there an
alternative source of Vit K for neonates which does not contain phenol?
Advice & info would be greatly appreciated.
