Hello,
I am trying to find information on the presence of thiol groups in SOD
and catalase.
- Do those enzymes contain thiol groups that are important for activity
(and thus would loose activity if they were blocked)?
- Do those enzymes contain thiol groups on the outside that would lead
to crosslinking under strong oxidative conditions?
