My son (7 years old) has just been tested for his lead level. The result was
26.4 UG/L. I will be seeing a specialist about this. My doctor, who has
talked to the specialist, suggests that at this level treatment might well be
worse than leaving it alone and letting time take care of it.
Anyone out there with experience with lead poisoning, guidelines re: children
and acceptable levels. The treatments available and the risk factors?
