Ammonia effects on fish/eggs

Hi,
I'm currently undertaking a research project for my undergrad thesis
on the effect of ammonia on eggs of Arctic charr-Salvelinus alpinus.
I would appreciate any info on the toxic effects of ammonia on tissues
and any references people could pass on.
