Help with Staden: I get get_comment invalid argument error.

I've just tested this on our Windows2000 systems using
g:\program files\staden package\course\data\ABI_Data\Sample 545
and it worked fine. I've got XP on my home system so I'll give it a try
there. I'd suprised that 2000 and XP behave differently - we don't do any
low-level system stuff, just the normal file opening etc.

You said, (in the mail to staden-admin, not this newsgroup), that installing
the package to C:\Staden instead of C:\Program Files\Staden cures the
problem. However did you still use the course data as a test? If so then does
that imply that it could cope with the space in the filename (Sample 545), but 
not in the directory? Curious...
