I'm having real problem in that when I type nip4 sip4 etc I get

any of the filenames
/home7/pubseq/share/lib/libtk8.0.so:/usr/local/lib/libtk8.0.so:/usr1/staden/newstaden/lib/sgi-binaries/libtk8.0.so:/usr/lib/libtk8.0.so:/lib/libtk8.0.so:/lib/cmplrs/cc/libtk8.0.so:/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/libtk8.0.so:
-- either the file does not exist or the file is not mappable (with
reason indicated in previous msg)
I've check and libtk8.0 is in
/usr1/staden/newstaden/lib/sgi-binaries/libtk8.0.so -
What am I doing wrong??
