Research Assistant position, genome sequencing

A graduate Research Assistant is required to perform and direct DNA 
sequencing as part of the EU-funded Schizosaccharomyces pombe genome 
sequencing project.  Applicants should have experience of automated 
sequencing and/or computer-based DNA sequence assembly.  

The appointment is on the RA1B scale (salary range £14,317- £15,986 p.a., 
under review) and is for one year in the first instance, with the 
possibility of extension up to three years.
