A full-time Research Support Specialist position is available in the
Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the State University of
Stony Brook, Stony Brook, New York.
Required qualifications are: BS in Botany and one year experience working
in plant biology.
The Research Support Specialist will carry out the following duties:
1) Produce transgenic plants and plant cell cultures using standard
techniques.
2) Assist in laboratory maintenance which will include purchasing and
inventory of chemicals and plants.
