Is it scientific for one to use ASPIRIN tablets (containing 0.5 mg acetylsalicylic acid as active ingredient) for experiments on systemic acquired resistance in plants? Can it be a reliable analogue of salicylic acid? Are there some references on this? Please, I await your comments.
