The University of Missouri-Columbia Maize Biology Training Program is
seeking graduate students to begin Ph.D. programs in the Fall 1997.
This program is funded by a tri-agency grant from NSF/DOE/USDA and
provides a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary graduate training
in all areas of maize biology.  Students choose degree options from a
variety of basic and applied departments with specific degree programs
tailored to the needs of the individual students.  Fellowships are
renewable up to five years and provide for stipend and all tuition and
