I am looking for a person(s) with experience using the Biomed
http://www.biomed1.com In-Pouch Trichomonas vaginalis culturing system. This
system consists of a small plastic bag with dried media which you add the
specimen, incubate and microscopically examine daily through the bag. No
mess. The system detects viable organisms and can also be used for drug
susceptibility studies. I would be interested in whether the user is also
performing a regular wet mount exam along with the culture and any pro/con
stories, price, problems, etc or comments. The system works on horses, so
equine stories are invited.
I would like to hear about any drug resistance cases.
