ParaDis (for "parasites" & "distribution"), a negative binomial
distribution software, running on PC/DOS, is available at this site:

It works satisfactorily and was very useful for fitting host-parasite
distributions. Maximum likelihood estimation for complete and
zero-truncated negative binomials, and common kc-estimation for grouped
distributions.
Also fit for Log-normal, Poisson, Polya-Aepply distributions.
Simulations...etc
