ASP web site changes

For the interested:
The American Society of Parasitologists web site is now under the
direction of an Information and Technology committee.  That committee
has its own sub-page where info-tech related items will be placed. 
There are some there already.
There are a few recent changes to make things more streamlined.  The use
of Javascripted imagemaps simplifies the front page and the meetings
The meeting date for 1998 has changed, and that information is now up to
date as well as a photo of the Kona Resort in Hawaii.
The most recent newsletter is on-line and searchable.
Graphics and information on the Journal of Parasitology page are updated
to be more pleasing and correct.  The next issue number of the Journal
will mark the beginning of on-line searchable titles and abstracts of
Things to look for in the near future are a parasitology protocols
database on-line and searchable and interactively add-able; the
Education comittee will have an on-line at-a-mouse-click determination
of who is volunteering for the educational and speaking outreach.  A
preliminary demo with interactive image map is located by following the
