I'm having a difficult time fixing crypto oocysts to microscope slides. I have used a standard procedure of air drying
purified oocysts, fixing with 95% ethanol, washing with PBS, followed by application of the antibody per IFA.
Apparently all the oocysts are washed away.
Question: what procedures do others use to directly fix crypto to microscope slides?
