Images such as you describe are available for viruses by ftp in
various formats. The most standard format seems to be mpeg, which
sounds like it's not that hard to use to creat images, although
I've never tried it. It would be nice to have an ftp archive site
for images. If anyone could figure out how to generate these
images, I'd love to generate some images for the organism that I
study, Sarcocystis neurona.--clara
