Dear Mrs. Dvorak,
I´m concerning to this comment:
Cs-gluconate; Cs-methanesulfonate

.....Here's our recipe for a Cs-gluconate-based solution for whole-cell
recording from hippocampal neurons in slice.
For 100 mL of solution:
final concentration
3.923 g gluconic acid (Aldrich G195-1) 100 mM
CsOH 50% in H20 (Aldrich 23,204-1)
7.6 mg EGTA (Sigma E4378) 0.2 mM
101.65 mg MgCl (Sigma M-8266) 5 mM
953.2 mg HEPES (Sigma H-3375) 40 mM
101.4 mg Mg-ATP (Sigma A-9187) 2 mM
15.6 mg Li-GTP (Sigma G-5884) 0.3 mM
34.3 mg QX-314 (optional) 1 mM
.....I haven't done much whole-cell recording myself, so I can't
vouch for the effectiveness of this solution, but it works
fine in other people's hands in our lab.
- Hannah

Can you give me information about the company and the order number
from QX-314?
This will be great.
Kind regards
