salt water aquarium about 40 years ago. I think they "learned" the
background turbulence. They pulled away from any change in the water
movement as caused by a passing fish or me squirting the filter
output. I never tried a direct touch - slugs were too expensive in
those days.

I don't know but Google produces a few hundred thousand hits. There
must be something useful in that.
