There's a short article, "Mind-control Microbe",

Describes Toxoplasma gondii parasite that
"alters the brain chemistry of rats so that
they are more likely to seek out cats".
This's interesting.
It's mimicking the "inversions" that I've been
reiterating in some other posts, and, so,
must(?) be acting on the same mechanisms.
