NIH-funded postdoctoral position available to study the
molecular basis of circadian behavior in Drosophila.
Our research is focused on the identification of signal
transduction pathways in the Drosophila brain that connect
the transcriptional circuits of the circadian clock to
behavioral rhythms. To this aim we employ a wide array of
experimental approaches including genome-wide expression
profiling, behavioral genetics, reporter gene expression,
and promoter binding studies.
My laboratory is part of a cluster of excellent circadian
research groups at the University of Virginia.
