[Neuroscience] Re: Advice/Opinion Needed on Good EEG Conferences

Hi, Matt. The next conference is the Cognitive Neuroscience Society
meeting, in San Francisco in the first weekend of April (website:
cogneurosociety.org). There's more fMRI stuff there than anything else,
but definitely some EEG research as well. There's a small conference in
Amsterdam this summer about a component of EEG called the "ERN", which
stands for error-related negativity, and refers to a relatively
negative EEG deflection following response errors or negative feedback
compared to correct responses or positive feedback. Then there's Human
Brain Mapping in Florence in June, and the biggest neuroscience
conference of all, which is the Society for Neuroscience conference
sometime in October or November in Atlanta. I think most of these
conferences are more concerned with scientific or psychological
processes than medical questions, but maybe it helps...
