'in situ"

In response to a long-former post,
another Poster replied to my emph-
asis on the need for "in vivo" systems
by saying ~"in situ" [also].

I learned what "in situ" means just
the other night, while watching a
local High School quiz show [the
longest-running such high school
quiz show in America, BTW].

"In the original place."

That's what I meant in my use of
"in vivo", which I now ='think'= is
also used to address "slice" exper-
iments. If so, that's not what I
meant by "in vivo" in my long-
former discussions.

I Apologize to the other Poster,
whose Graceful effort to Teach
me bounced-off my Block-headed-
ness. It's only now that I've received
the benefit of your Teaching.

So Thank You. [If I can find the
OP, I'll Thank You by Name.]
