Let me answer by analogy:
Why don't you buy me a car?
You can apply for an NIH grant just like anyone else can. All you have
to do is go to the grant pages, get the forms, find the appropriate
sort of grant, and apply for it. When I do it, it takes a lot of time
and effort. My time is expensive. By necessity of the process, I risk
my time (ie. money) in order to try to win more. It takes me about a
week of full time effort, 50 to 60 hours, and includes pilot data
which took at least as many hours to collect and analyze, and included
work done by assistants who were also paid.
Why don't I do this for you? Because you're not paying me to, and are
not likely to, is why. This ain't no party, this ain't no disco.
If you have something you want them to see, publish it. If you want to
do research on it, publish it, and use that for your justification for
your testable hypotheses.
} I'm 'curious'. Have you read AoK?
No. And I'm pretty sure you don't want me to.
