Dear NMF,
It seems (to me) you have picked up on the fact that Ken has synthesized
something that is relevant to 'something very real' (so to speak).
Even if Ken can't continue solidifying his schematic view (for whatever
reaons), I would welcome anyone as obviously in realistic touch with brain
and behaviour related Science (and its conventions), as you seem to be, to
pick up from 'somewhere around' where Ken left-off, and to run further with
"it".
I, myself, am to far out on the philosophical fringe to do it.
However I might be albe to provide a relevant gallow-humored (and ironic)
laugh or two. ;-)
