A report on NBC evening news
the other 'night', allowed me to
See that folks're already doing
stuff that's correlated to the
scanning experiment that I pro-
posed in the msg linked-to above.
They're using electrodes distribut-
ed upon a skull cap [EEG] to al-
low subjects to learn how to man-
ipulate a computer cursor upon a
CRT [discussions, which I should've
noted in my previous discussion,
have occurred, here in b.n, with
respect to analogous stuff using
monkeys as subjects].
Anyway, if these Experimenters
look, they'll find the "Directional-
ity" stuff that I wrote of in my pro-
bosal post is =right-in= the data
that they collect during their trials.
I Encourage them to focus upon
it. Doing so will greatly-advance
their efforts.
[Another, analogous, thing: I've
not read it yet, but there is an
Article in today's [2004-12-07]
=New York Times= "Science
Times" section, "String Theory,
at 20, Explains It All (or not), by
D. Overbye, p. D1. It should be
available on the =NYT= web site.
I'm going to read, and discuss
the Article's discussion. So, if
anyone's interested in Physics,
perhaps you'll want to jump
over to the =NYT= web site
http: //www.nytimes.com/
and give it a read.]
