Any Cases?

Any cases of the following:

Subject experiences total bilateral cortical deafness. It can't even
hear in its dreams. The only sound perception [that too a false
perception] at all -- during wake or sleep [REM and NREM] -- is a
high-pitched sine-wave tone that seems -- to the subject -- to be
coming from all directions. Auditory perception is affected like this
and does not change regardless of whether subject is awake or dreaming
sleep. Auditory processing, memory, recognition, speech, and all
auditory entities -- other than perception itself -- are totally
unaffected.
