entire point of 2 Samuel where God punishes David.

The King is the only person who could have prevented Bathsheba from having
mamzers with a Hittite, which would have required him to put them away. But
as pointed out above, God punished David anyway.

What do you mean by "Living God"? This is nowhere in the Holy Bible. Did
you mean to refer to Jesus, in which case you must have meant ancestor
rather than descendant?
You're correct that David was an ancestor to Jesus, if this is what you
meant. You're correct that Bathsheba SHOULD have been punished for marrying
a Hittite. You need to remember that at least David saved her from having
little mamzers. And that God punished David anyway.
