The Central Nervous System (CNS) is basically the brain and spinal cord. It
is one of two parts of the nervous system, the second part being the
Peripheral Nervous System (PNS).
A good description of nervous system can be found at
http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/introb.html.
A bug's nervous system can be found at
http://www.cals.ncsu.edu:8050/course/ent425/tutorial/nerves.html.
A great site for a brain tutorial is at
http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~Brainmd1/brain2.html.
You will be frightfully informed after visiting these sites.
