Myoclonic involves brief episodes of muscle jerks.

Clonic is sustained repetitive jerking.

Tonic is sustained stiffening due to muscle contraction.

Tonic/clonic is "grand mal" seizure with stiffening followed by
sustained jerking until the seizure stops.
