"Who Really Cooks the Books?", By WARREN E. BUFFETT
http://www.nytimes.com/2002/07/24/opinion/24BUFF.html
New York Times Column-Author info: "Warren E. Buffett is the chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., a diversified holding company."
This stuff reflects the compound nature of the 'stock-options' [and [pension-fund' return 'estimates'] problem[s]. Those Corporations whose CEOs who Honor Truth, both on behalf of their Corporations and their Share Holders, are 'penalized' by the perverse 'funny'-numbers practices of the 'corporations' and 'ceos' who Dishonor Truth.
Clearly, things're "Inverted" with respect to Truth.
Investors should, themselves, Honor Truth with respect to such matters, 'moving toward' Corporations that Honor Truth, and 'moving away from' 'corporations' that Dishonor Truth.
In doing so, Investors can perform work that will foster their own welfare, and, simultaneously, that of Our Nation.
It's a Thermodynamic, around which there's no way.
Honor Truth, and Truth Honors you right back.
Mr. Buffett, if I'd the means, I'd check-out doing Business with Berkshire Hathaway. If I ever have the means, I will.
