Gidean tested a deity using a simple experiment, and found that the
deity did indeed exist. You could also say that Gideon, using his
"science" could predict a future event.
One big difference between science and the Bible however, is that
the Bible doesn't give out hypothesis'. In reading it you can see
over and over how God says something.. and it happens. Best example
is Jesus saying beforehand that he would rise from the dead in 3
days.
