False. Science explicitly excludes supernatural explanations from being
considered within science, but science also totally excludes the question of
"why" (in the sense of justification). Scientists who believe in God work to
come up with scientific explanations of "how", and turn to God to explain
"why" the scientific explanations appear to be reality.
Existence of a deity cannot be proven nor disproven by science, since a deity
is by definition supernatural. Science cannot study the supernatural; at
most it can show that a given phenomenon COULD have a natural explanation, in
which case it would not be supernatural.
