As there was in Neuroscience, Physics, Chemistry, Genetics, Biology, in
general, Cosmology, Sociology, etc., so, too, there's been a need in
Business [and Government], to "take things down to a lower-'level'", correct
ancient Errors, and, then, rebuild, sans the mis-direction that derived in
the ancient Errors being perpetuated.
So, that's what I'll do in the remainder of my participation in this thread.
Everything that I'll discuss has already been worked-through, within this or
that example, probed while I was doing the same thing with respect to the
Science [deliberate singular] noted above. The underpinning rationale was
that the Science had to be Tested in every conceivable way, which,
way-way-back, when the opportunity showed itself, was 'the' rationale that
attracted me to begin doing analysis of 'stock market' dynamics as they're
correlated to group-wise behaviroal dynamics. [For those who have it, the
encompassing 'exploration'-mode is declared near the end of AoK's Preface.
There've been myriad other such Tests put to the Science, most of which were
long-ago 'sketched' in the documentation I've kept over the course of these
nearly-31 years. As far as I've been able to See, no matter the problem-set,
it's all the Same-Stuff in terms of the Science. This view, of course, must
be 'hammered-upon' by others, which I invited folks to do, also near the end
of AoK's Preface. Of course the Invitation remains open.]
Please Forgive what, I understand, will seem, in the above, to constitute an
'unseemly' laying-down of a 'gauntlet', but I must make Clear that any
who'll 'wave their hands' without addressing particulars, will only
'embarass' themselves, because, unless folks look-far, in a detailed way,
it's a virtual certainty that the stuff of their 'hand-waving' 'protest' has
already been dealt-with in the decades during which the Science has been put
to the Test.
Why begin this discussion in such an 'unseemly' way? It has do do with my
experience with folks who try to do 'business' with only peripheral recourse
to Science. They take some Statistics courses, some Economics, maybe some
Calculus, and maybe even some Physics, but they routinely approach such
course-work as merely 'obstacles' along their paths which, routinely, lead
to goals of just 'wheeling-and-dealing', in which, as the old saw declares,
"It doesn't matter what you know. It matters who you know." is the gist of
all actual 'goals'. This is the stuff of the first ancient Error that must
be Corrected in the realm of Business [and Government].
So, don't get 'hung-up' on the 'unseemliness'. Just Do-Science. There's
=always= 'unseemliness', inherent, when ancient-Error stuff is addressed
right in the light-of-day. When one looks, one Sees, Clearly, that the only
thing that's actually 'unseemly' is that the ancient-Error stuff has been
allowed its 'unquestioned' existence. So, when one looks, onealso Sees,
Clearly, that addressing the stuff of ancient Errors, right in the
light-of-day is the Pure-Joy stuff ["biological reward"; AoK, Ap5, 7, 8]
that =always= accompanies 'Fixing' things needing-fixing. This, too, reduces
directly to TD E/I-minimization, as does everything else that I'll discuss
in this thread.
And, Please, 'interpolate, a bit, with respect to what I've shared with you
with respect to myself. It's 'Hard' for me to 'criticize'. I'm a
fairly-decent guy, but I've been Working on all this ancient-Error stuff
since a Child. I've long experience with the 'lash' that, typically, ensues
when ancient-Error stuff is Challenged. Long, long, long ago, I learned that
it's, therefore, best to just do the Work while remaining 'invisible',
because the rest is Waste. If anyone 'wonders', I'd like to be 'visible',
but, absent, that, the Work still Needed to be Accomplished.
In this, I Agree with Mr. Lincoln: "A man has not time to spend half his
life in quarrels [...]"
